As well as providing very ‘organic’ looking pools, Clear Water Revival are able to provide natural swimming pools with a far more conventional feel to there design, with less focus on habitat and wildlife, while using attractive, natural looking and sustainable construction materials.

The filter system explained
Clear Water Revival has decided to go into partnership with the Aqua Viva group of Austria and Germany. Our many years of experience with water treatment and biological filtration systems has proven to us that they have perfected the design of the natural pool’s regeneration zone, to provide a highly efficient filter suitable for all manner of pool designs and demands.
Aqua Viva’s system has many unusual features brought about by its inventor’s dedication to the filtration system, with great investment put purely to research and development of its design. As a group we are concerned that the industry is seen to be creating perfect natural pools with clear water all year round, and extremely happy customers. It is especially unique in being efficient at much smaller volumes compared to other systems, leaving far more of the pool to swimming. If you are not so keen on the water garden or wildlife aspects of your pool, our pools can function perfectly with only 20% of the area taken up by the regeneration zone and with less focus on planting.
Features of our system include:
- Long-term biological filtration (little maintenance required);
- 3 different skimmer types to keep the surface clear;
- Pumps that stand clear of the water and have automated control systems;
- A two-pump system, reducing costs at times where high turnover and skimmers are not essential;
- A unique and optimized substrate for water plants; and
- The best range of accessories and programs for cleaning (suction devices, brushes, leaf nets, mechanical (sand) filter attachments etc.).
The Aqua Viva Quality Management System
Clear Water Revival will be supervising the practice of the Aqua Viva system within the UK. With the direct assistance of our partners in Austria, we will ensure every installation is carried out under strict conditions and to precise calculation, making use of tried and tested materials. All customers of our partners will receive attention from Clear Water Revival to ensure they are happy with the service they are receiving, and our partners will work closely with us to ensure precision is met in all aspects of your pool design.
Aqua Viva Austria
The Aqua Viva group began in Austria in 1993. Experts from a background in waste-water treatment began scientific experiments to perfect a filter design purely for natural swimming pools. After 3 years they installed the first filter into a customer’s pool. There are now 27 partners in Austria. Only partners of the highest standard have been admitted in order that quality control maintains its level in the 140-160 pools that are installed per year.
