Cornwall Pool
This is a large type 5 pool at 25m long, incorporating a large amount of local granite into the walls and waterfall surrounding the swimming area.
This pool required a lot of concrete to bind the stone, which needed to be cured for a considerable amount of time. The water supply is from a borehole 40m below the adjoining house.
The pool is particularly exciting being attached directly to the conservatory of the house and having a multitude of different features such as a reclining area, a kids play area, a waterfall, diving rock and several entry points.
The pool was built diligently by our Cornish partners Mid Cornwall Landscapes.
The photos show certain stages of the construction, with the first four images showing the pool at just 2 weeks old (on a rather wet day).
