David is an aquatic ecologist and has been working in this field for over ten years, graduating from Southampton University with a degree in aquatic biology. As an environmental consultant, habitat creation and wetland ecology featured heavily in his work throughout the UK. Before working as a consultant he had spent many years working on water treatment systems for aquariums, domestic and industrial waste water and large public water features
Andrew Moss is a sustainability consultant and mechanical design engineer and has been working with renewable energy systems for over 5 years. Skilled in the use of materials, manufacturing techniques and project management, Andrew has been a lead designer in several award winning renewable energy projects. Andrews’s core strengths include a deep understanding of ecological building design, renewable energy options appraisals and sustainable materials.
Edmund Colville comes from an art based background. He trained in horticulture with the Royal Horticultural Society and went on to study garden design at the Inchbald School of design. He has worked designing and implementing gardens across England over the last few years. He is an excellent painter and printmaker who can use his skills in creating an artist’s impression of a landscape design.
Nick Jeffries is a Chartered Civil Engineer specialising in water and the environment. He has worked for a major engineering consultancy for 6 years during which time he has been involved in projects across the UK, the Middle East, South East and Central Asia. Nick's projects fall into two general categories - prestigious landscaping projects and infrastructure masterplans for new large urban developments. His project portfolio includes a major archaeological garden in Central Beirut, a fountain in London and futuristic cities in Singapore and Kuwait. Whichever project Nick is undertaking the central theme remains the same - high quality and high sustainability.
Joe is an accomplished aquarium designer having assisted in the construction of the London Aquarium, for which he was Curator for 8 years. He went on to design the new £80m Silvertown Aquarium in the London Docklands due to be opened in 2007. His knowledge is invaluable for refining circulation and flow rates, as well as for the ongoing research and development of the natural filtration system. Within his 14 years of experience he has published many articles on natural water filtration.
