Here at Clear Water Revival we are committed to minimising our impact on the environment. In order to keep up with our carbon footprint, we have introduced a scheme where we calculate and offset the carbon emissions caused from the construction of our natural swimming pools.

What is Carbon Offsetting?

A carbon offset is essentially a reduction in emissions of carbon dioxide or other greenhouse gases made in order to compensate for emissions made elsewhere. In simple terms, offsetting one tonne of carbon [dioxide?] means there will be one less tonne of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere than there would otherwise have been. In many instances, it provides much needed employment, health improvement, enhanced biodiversity and broad social benefits to impoverished communities. Meaning it both helps to combat global climate change as well as caring for local communities.

Tree Planting

CWR use “” for offsetting carbon emissions caused by the construction of our natural swimming pools. Planting [trees?] is a great way to help sequester carbon emissions and [trees?] are essential to maintaining our climate and biodiversity. Trees contribute to the global environment by improving air quality, conserving water, preserving soil, and supporting wildlife. During the process of photosynthesis, trees take out carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and produce the oxygen we breathe. By ensuring that the trees planted are native broad leaf species, we can also help to preserve the UK’s environment and biodiversity, which takes place in school locations and other biodiversity sites.

So, for every tonne of C02 produced by us, plant one tree in the UK, compensating for our environmental impact, protecting wildlife and benefiting local communities.

Our Involvement

In line with our environmental ethos, we have introduced a scheme where we calculate and offset the emissions caused from the build of our natural swimming pools. We will provide you with a certificate of verification of your reduced carbon footprint and show you what tree planting cause your contribution has gone towards.

At no extra cost to you, we are taking action, taking our responsibility to the climate seriously and ensuring positive outcomes in accordance with our environmental ethos.
